A New Year-Round Beer (x6)!

Money on My Rind

If you’ve visited our restaurant and brewery or seen us at a beer fest recently, you may have encountered Money on My Rind. This 5% ABV Belgian-inspired witbier is brewed with juniper berries, grapefruit peel and juice for those hot Chicago days when you’re rolling down the street laid back. In other words, it’s a nod to the iconic pop culture beverage, and we love it.

We love it so much, in fact, that we decided to add it to our year-round offerings. As of today, you’ll be able to purchase Money on My Rind in six-packs from Whole Foods, Binny’s, or your favorite independent liquor store.

And if you remember our beers in four-packs, you’re right. Accompanying the Money on My Rind release is the debut of new Forbidden Root packaging. Money on My Rind was one of the first beers we conceived and brewed in our West Town space. That process came on the heels of the enormous brand exercise that was building out our restaurant and brewery, and in turn, locking in our aesthetic.

The new packaging, which features beautiful botanical illustrations from artist Ellie Yun-Hui Tu, is reflective of the Forbidden Root ethos, and we’re very proud to debut it with Money on My Rind. Look for our other year-round offerings, Sublime Ginger and Wildflower Pale Ale, in sixers as well. Cheers (x6)!
